The
detailed information of the objectives is given below:
1.
School Health Education Package
This is solely an education and awareness package related
to health. Nowadays most of the health related issues are
occuring due to the lack of health knowledge. We are mostly
concerned with HIV/AIDS, STD, malnutrition and others.
2.
Health Promotion Services
Health Facilities Improvement Programme for the school:
This will focus on:
a. Clinical arrangements with basic equipment (first aid box,
weighting machines
etc.).
b. Environment and sanitation arrangement:
i. Improvement of drinking water system (filter installment)
ii. Personal hygiene;
iii. Waste disposal
Routine
check-up;
This
includes the following services for health check-up regularly:
Test:
- Blood group detection;
- Hemoglobin level test;
- Stool test / RE;
- Urine/RE;
- General health check up (if necessary)

School Health Training Package:
Findings
of various studies show that health problems are significant
causes for poor education of children. The capability and
competency of the children is lower due to the health problems
so this type of health package will support the upgrading
of the health status of the children. On the other hand the
School Health Training Package is solely designed to support
the health teachers who are supposed to be responsible for
the improvement of the health status of the school children.
The
training will focus on health, nutrition, environment and
other health related issues. The session will be conducted
both theoretically and practically. The main focus will be
given on First Aid and Emergence issues.
Target
Group
The
conceptualization of this programme is especially designed
and targeted to the school children who are studying at play
group to class 10, the age group ranging from 3 to 16 years.
Furthermore, there are certain provisions to the teacher society.
Merit
to the students / teachers / schools:
To the students
- The students who are suffering from diseases can detect
the problem; and are easy to treat;
- They could know more about their health status and will
be more alert;
- Saving of time and money.
To
the teachers
- Teachers will acknowledge different health related issues;
- Saving of time and money;
- Will be capable of managing emergency first aid treatment.
Dual
considerate
There
are some terms and conditions associated with this Help Center
Nepal. We put the following terms and conditions for the launching
of the programme:
- All the technical equipment will be brought by the Programmer
(Help Center Nepal);
- Management and arrangement of the things will be done by
the project;
- The reports will be given on time;
- The school will have to counsel to the students for the
preparation of the launching of the programme;
- The School should provide class, section and roll number
of the students;
- All the activity will be done in the school boundary except
laboratory tests.
Working schedule
Time: 10 AM to 5 PM
Day: Sunday to Friday

several fields such as doctors, health assistants, CMA, ANM,
etc.
